Animal Farm
by
"The novel, though it be short and hard to understand it's relevance at first, has opened my mind to the world we live in. The plot is based on the Russian Revolution through the use of animals living on a farm. Orwell did an outstanding job or portraying the events of this major revolution in our modern history. The ideas, concepts, and themes, and especially the way Orwell presents them are what continues to draw the reader to finish the novel. Easily a must read for a young mind searching for answers about our curious world. "

Dracula
by
"What is there to say about this, it's an absolute classic. Stoker wrote, what I consider to be, the most culturally powerful forces that entered our society. Much of what we read and watch is heavily based and inspired from this novel. "

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
by
"A novel incredibly well writte and well researched before the author even sat down to write it. The plot and setting as well as the time period are clearly expressed and explained allowing the reader to draw a real life image of life during this time. The reader also comes to understand more about mental illness and the unethical means by which these unfortunate illnesses were cured (or thought to have been)."

1984
by
"1984 is an absolute must read as this novel and this novel alone has provoked some of the most important and most influential thoughts in some of the most well known philosophers of our time. This incredibly written, awe inspiring, and suggestive novel allows readers to develop an understanding of the dangers that may occur in a dictatorship. The philosophical reflections one will experience during and especially after reading the novel truly build oneself both mentally and physically in the way that face our modern corrupt world. "
