Stupeur et tremblements
by
"This book is hilarious. A Belgian woman originally born in Japan returns to Japan for a job. Based on Japanese business culture, she is expected to start at the bottom making Zerox copies, updating wall calendars and making tea. The meaning of the Title revealed at the end is just too funny. This is a must read if you are at all interested in real Japanese culture seen from the perspective of someone fluent in the language, but still viewed as a total outsider."

Wind, Sand and Stars

"Read the original in french "Citidal". It takes place in a desert, and totally evokes this magic place. It is one of my favorite books of all time. This is the real desert where the plane crashed in his book "The Little Prince"."
