"Courage, courage is a strong feeling, as well as a theme for this book. This book is called Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief, written by Rick Riordan. Rick Riordan has also written other books that are heavily based off of action, he also wrote an entire series for this book. What this book has a lot of is courage, courage is something that the book has a lot to do with. The main character, Percy Jackson, shows a lot of courage throughout the course of this book. He shows courage when fighting his enemies, or by simply facing the unknown. With courage being shown all over the book by Percy, it can be fair to say that courage is a major theme throughout the book, and that there are other books that also show courage as a theme throughout the book."

4.04 avg rating — 4,788 ratings
"Here, another book that shows courage is January (Conspiracy 365 #1) from the “Conspiracy 365” series. The main character, Callum Ormond, is now a wanted criminal, however he was actually framed for something he had nothing to do about. Every choice has a different consequence, so he must take all of his courage to do some of the most daring actions that will result with a good outcome.
With all of this, Callum Ormond shows all of this courage all throughout the book. With courage being shown in a big way in the book, it was put in as the first book in this list

"With the Conspiracy 365 series out of the way, another book that shows the theme courage is Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card. Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s game book series show a lot of courage from the book’s main character, Ender Andrew Wiggins. During the some parts of the book, Ender must choose right or wrong answers regarding what he is doing. Some of his choices could even be lethal towards him, but with the courage invested in him, he can avoid them, but the choices will still keep his life on the line. With all of these dangerous, yet courageous stunts shown through some parts of the book, the book really does show a lot of courage in the main character’s personality.

"Another book that shows courage is John Green’s The Fault In Our Stars. John Green has written many books that have won bestsellers, and even has his own series called “Crash Course.” In the book, the main character is a late teenage girl who suffers from a type of lung cancer, but she is destined to do what she wants to do, even with something in her way, she still will try to find away to go around, and get to what she wants to achieve. She must work with a lot of courage, must have confidence with every task or step she must do to get to where she does. With the main character working up her courage needed, this book shows a lot of courage in her every step."

"Philippe Petite, a wire walker, the man who walked across the twin towers of New York City. This is a big one, the main character, Philippe Petite, is a wire walker, and this book was about his high wire walk between the twin towers of New York City. Now walking on a high wire about a quarter mile off the ground already requires a lot of courage in order to get up there, and making sure you won’t fall, will require just as much brain power as making your every step counts. With all of his courage built up to his final moment to walk the wire, he has put in all his faith and all his courage into the steps which he takes in order to walk the wire. There was also a movie that was based off the novel made not long ago, last year. "

"This is the second book in the Percy Jackson series. You are probably saying to yourself, well is the first book has courage, then this second book should have courage as well, and I totally agree, but this second book has much of others as well. It also has many other aspects, and that just reading one book is not enough, so you should read the second book if you haven't as well. This book carries along a lot of courage in almost all that Percy does throughout the book. After finding out that he is a demigod, he must now find out what has happened to everything throughout the realms, and must slaughter what is making things as they are. In order to live up to all this he needs just as much bran power as what he does during fighting or in battle. Courage is a lot for all of these books, which is the reason why this books is along other very ‘courageous’ books. "
