The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1)
by
"Katniss didn't act feminine enough. Before you get on my case, let me explain. I'm all for strong female characters, but I've found that a majority of them have almost become masculine female characters, which is stupid. They're better at typical 'guy things' than guys. They're into 'guy' things. They're not into anything that could be normally considered 'feminine'. Of course, that can be used as a plot device, but when it's being used by every 'strong-female-character-author', I find it somewhat annoying and unrealistic."

Airborn (Matt Cruse, #1)
by
"Kate was flat, had no personality, was unnaturally smart for a 14-year-old, and had no real flaws (apart from being headstrong, which is typical for Mary-Sues. The only weakness is being headstrong)."
