"The first time I read this book (in the 1990s) I was amazed and shocked at how perfectly fitting to our times its content was, considering it had been written in 1931. To today, this remains one of the most (unfortunately) prophetical books that were ever written, in my opinion at least. And it is definitely a book that never tires and that I have kept on reading throught the years."

"As with the Count of Monte Cristo, this is a wonderful adventure with a fantastic, strongwilled, adorable hero and his equally fantastic, strongwilled, adorable servant/friend. One partakes Don Quijpte's roaming and fights with his very same determination and eagerness, and even if we all know his world is a world of dreams and imagination, we cannot help but liking his view more than that of his rational friend.
