"The names of the characters alone are enough to convince anyone that this is both Quirky and Southern: Beanie Bradsher, Eustace (Useless) Fallwell, Vesuvious Jones, Bubba John and Sweet Lee Atwater and their kids, B-Kay, T-Ray, Bitty, Tater, and Daisy. This book is funny and tender with colorful yet accurate depictions of small town southern characters. If you are southern, you will know what I mean when I say you can't make this stuff up.
