Yeah, that was definitely weird. (Not as weird as having found a possum in our house just now, but weird!)

I just checked: Ashley deleted three books, The Man in the High Castle, Farthing and The Handmaid's Tale, and all books were read by you. Maybe she deleted your votes?

My uncle and aunt in NZ found a possum in their garage once :-) Garage was built into the house.

We still don't know how it got in.

Neither did they, it was just there for several days.

Well, the nice man came to take it away this morning - there is an ungodly mess in the sun parlor, though!

I bet there is... When I was staying in Cradle Mountain in Tasmania, we were warned not to let the door open when we brought in the suitcases, otherwise a possum might get in. And they had a sort of metal insect screens in front of all the windows as well. When it got dark, we understood all the precautions :-)

My uncle and aunt left the garage door open, hoping the possum would get out, but it still took several days before it finally did...
