The Handmaid's Tale
by
"Claire Danes really brings this story to life. It feels like an audio diary of Offred when she performs it (and once you get to the end, you will see just how appropriate this feeling is). It's one of the few books that I couldn't leave in my car. I had to bring it into work with me to hear what would happen next. "

Water for Elephants
by
"Stunning voice acting that utilizes two different voice actors; one for young Jacob and one for old man Jacob. The story is good too, but the voice acting in this edition is out of this world!"

Me Before You (Me Before You, #1)
by
"This is a really beautiful, heartbreaking story, and the voice actress brings it to life. Rather than your car, you will feel like you are sitting in the main character's brain, listening to her inner dialogue."

The Martian
by
"The journal entry format of this story really lends itself to an audiobook. The voice actor was very good at bringing Mark Watney to life with cavalier witticisms and unending innovation and improvisation driven by an unstoppable desire to survive an otherwise very depressing situation."

Eragon (Inheritance, #1)
by
"This epic, high fantasy novel will give you HOURS of story to listen to. I like listening to these sorts of stories because I don't have to guess at the pronunciation of strange names and made up languages! The voice actor did an excellent job of giving each character their own distinct voice."

Prey
by
"Thrillers make for great commuting material. The story in Prey is decent, and the voice acting is quite good. A great pick for a morning when you are having trouble staying awake."
