Key characters from books removed, main characters change dramatically across mediums. (Liz Ortecho became Liz Parker, Max became really boring). Sheriff Valenti changed dramatically in the TV show but in a good way. Overall plot of TV show disorganized and random, as opposed to the rising and connected crises/villains of the book series.
