"In sociology, a thoroughly thought theory of space has been lacking—until Löw*s The Sociology of Space. This book doesn't reiterate arguments found in, say, Lefebvre's The Production of Space. It comes up with its own theory, one that I see far more better than Guiddens' structuration theory, the first theory in sociology to supposedly adopt the arguments of the spatial turn. Löw proves it didn't. Any list on place (or space?) without this book is incomplete."
