Starting with an author that has won every genre award multiple times did make me a picky reader when it comes to my sci-fi romance. Read the whole series. It might not be traditional romance, but all the relationships in this series are amazing."

"I love Van Natta Central Galactic world. The characters are very varied, and so are the romantic relationships. Every book is different. And the overall story arc makes you wish she wrote a lot faster:) Give the first book, 'Overload Flux' and try, and I guarantee you will plow through the whole series. It has 4 books, and serveral novellas. Book 5 comes out soon."
