You should read the Westmoreland series by Judith McNaught. In particular, the last one, which would be perfect on this list! OH! And Into the Wilderness by Sarah Donati!

Into The Wilderness is sort of a lot like Outlander, and it's supposed to be based in the same "world". Although really, they only mentioned Jamie, Claire & Ian in one scene.
