"Shelley's Frankenstein has influenced the horror genre and the way in which we tell stories for over 100 years now. To not have this book in the top 5, especially when it's so damn good on top of its influential nature, is to do it a disservice."

"Bradbury's novel is accessible and entertaining. It also addresses the issue of censorship and the ability of ideas to survive in the face of authoritarian rule. "

"I only don't have this higher because it's been a while. Similar to Shelley, Garcia Marquez's book is so influential as well as just plain entertaining to read, it would make no sense to not give this a place on the top books list."
