Slaughterhouse-Five
by
"Vonnegut did such a wonderful job weaving a scientific tale with actual events. Being that he lived through them, he was able to give a realistic account of what happened. This book was such a quick read, but it told a phenomenal story in than 300 pages that some books cannot tell in 1,000 pages. "

Atlas Shrugged
by
"Quite a dense read but worth every minute. This is a book that was relevant in its time and has continued to be relevant today as more and more individuals in America shy away from capitalism. This book shows the decline of a nation as many of its citizens grow lazy and chose to leech off the work of others. This book progresses through the slow collapse of this society. "

Animal Farm

"Such a humorous and whimsical novel that appears to be childish but has such a great underlying story. Quite the rebuke to the climate of Russian politics during its time of release."
