Kristy's Great Idea (The Baby-Sitters Club, #1)
by
"Ann M. Martin is one of the best authors ever. She inspired me to write ever since I was in kindergarten-I wrote her a letter, and she wrote a very detailed and personal one back. Ann M. Martin is my favorite author because of all of the effort she puts into her books and because of how much she interacts with her fans. I started reading her books when I was in kindergarten and I still read them to this day. "

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1)
by
"Richelle Mead absolutely rocks. Her first book in the Vampire Academy series, Vampire Academy, was a big hit with me and lots of other teens. This is generally for mature readers (that does NOT mean for older teens! I read it when I was eleven, but because I'm a mature reader, I was able to handle the themes in the book.) Tip: Only read Richelle Mead if you are really okay with some adult themes!"
