I am now wondering if I should read it as some of his books are too frightening for me. I had to quit on the last one as I couldn't handle it.

It is not as scary as some of his famously scary books. When I read it many years ago, I thought the premise was pretty creative and unique. I really liked it.

I sure hope to give it a try. My favorites by him are: 'Salem's Lot, The Shining and Carrie.
