Purple Cover (The Nostrils, #7)
by
"The whole series by Jonathan deserves to be on the list but this is the final chapter (apparently) for his anti-hero DI Pritchard. We've followed him from Stokey to Tottenham and CIB2 to the Murder Squad. Jonathan has a fine extensive knowledge of police procedure and he weaves a wonderful tale of realistic crime investigation. "
