Kathy wrote: "If The Woman in White wins this month, I promise to actually read it this time."Kathy, this made me giggle when I read it :D. I was on Kindle tho, so closed without answering.
Imma watch and see!!!! (I will tease you BAD if you don't ahhhahahahahaaa!!!!)
lol. Exactly how many times has it won?? But I'll help you out and vote for it cause I want to read it too.

heh ... I don't think it's actually been a group read that many times, but it does get added to the polls ALOT. I think Kathy has even nominated it a few times. The last time she nominated it, I teased her HARD about it. I said, okay, but you have to read it this time! :p
(She was an awful good sport about the ribbing, I have to say ;-).)
This vote is close too!Let the campaigning commence in earnest! Avoid a runoff - campaign for your favorite!! :D
Haha, you know, I would agree to that, except I tried to find The Woman in White here in Brazil (public libraries, stores...) and it's simply impossible to buy! :(
Kathy wrote: "We could all change our votes to the Woman in White and knock out the two contenders. ;)"Kathy! *busting a gut laughing here*
Ah, Kathy, I abandoned ship for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest since I've already read Wuthering Heights, but if we can get half a dozen or more to help out, I'll change my vote again! (I'm fickle, I admit it!)
Wewt! Pity I already voted for it.Buuut I can try and convince others to change theirs:
"Is Du Maurier getting you down? Is James sucking the joy out of life? Is Austen merely adequate?
Then I have just the book for you!
The Woman in White is a literary delight penned by the father of mystery, Wilkie Collins. Set partly in Cumberland (the home of Woolfest... just saying...), this spine tingling tale will shiver your timbers!
Vote for the winner! Vote The Woman in White!"
(I'm really only teasing though. Unless you want to change your vote anyway. Go on, you know you want to...)
^5, Maggie ! :)Come on, all you voters for the non-contenders! Let's make Kathy read Woman in White! lol ....
