Sadly can't vote as none of the above are available in Canada. Can't order them from overseas either as we have a postal strike looming this Friday, lasting who knows how long :-(

I like the idea of the Aussie outback classic by Kenneth Cook, but have heard such good reports about The Dry by Jane Harper that it gets my vote.
I'd like to read Jane Harper's new book, The Dry: A Novel, but there are already 6 reserves at our library, so I won't be able to get it for ages.

Mary Fear Is the Rider was my nomination..I've read it and it's brilliant! The most harrowing thriller I've read in a long time.
I'm sorry about that Icewineanne :( Maybe the postage strike might be over closer to August. We won't know till then what our book will be anyway.
I've bought Murder in Murloo after seeing this and hope that will win the vote!
