In stark contrast to December's poll, February's poll is looking a lot like I imagine the fight between the internet troll and the MMA fighter will look this weekend.

The books are obviously all chosen now, but if anybody wants to read a wonderful novel set on the Moon, can I heartily recommend Robert Heinlein's 'The Moon is a Harsh Mistress'? - Surely *that* great book hasn't been forgotten?

We have a nomination phase each month to pick books for this poll.

Moon is a Harsh Mistress is indeed great though. Our shelf would have been incomplete without it! I am still impressed with how many laps Artemis made around every other option. If everyone who DIDN'T vote for Artemis voted for some other book, it'd only just squeak by!
I'll read Artemis when it wins, but I haven't seen a single good review, so I can't say I'm looking forward to it.
I tried to put a hold on Artemis. I'm number 95. Hahaha have fun everyone, hopefully I'll have better luck with the fantasy read.
Well it looks like you have approximately 20 buddies for either Radiance or The Gods Themselves, if you'd like to suggest a side read!

I'm #32 at my library. They have 20 copies so maybe it will not take too long
Voted Artemis cause I loved The Martian and well, I have the book. Sometimes not so easy for me to find books I want to read.

I enjoyed it. It wasn't a favorite or anything but it was fun. I think the key is to not take it too seriously as science fiction (maybe even think of it as YA). I didn't vote for it here because I think there are other more deserving titles on the list (and I've already read it).
