I received Melanie's invitation to vote and replied right away choosing Jenny Erpenback, but also noted that in the wake of Pres. Trump ugly comment about Haiti, perhaps we should read Edwidge Danticat. My email bounced back with a note that it could not be delivered. I would like Malanie to get in touch with me,

Hi Elizabeth,
I think if you want to reply to the messages I send, you have to do that on goodreads. Not sure.
I am sure you can just change your vote too. I did in the past and that always worked for me.
Hope this helps

Thank you Malenie. I will make every effort to communicate with you via Goodreads. An additional compliction is that I am currently in West Africa, today in Porto Novo, the capital of Benin, and moving to Ouidah on Tuesday. The Internet in Benin is temperamental and weak. I will be back in Canada by April 1st. In the meatime I will purchase the March selection on line and read it.Best from West Africa.
