I didn't have any of the books, so I voted 'Emergency Contact'. It's a new release contemporary so i think it would be fun and quick!

I'm really looking forward to the group read, but did anyone else notice that the winner will be announced on Friday the 13th? That got a chuckle out of me.

I'm not, but I love messing with people who are... I know, I'm such a jerk. I have an aunt who is extremely superstitious, and kid me, having been raised differently, found this hilarious. I used to do things like drop salt, open umbrellas inside, walk under ladders, etc all right in front of her to get a reaction.
I realize as a grown adult I shoudln't have done that.. but it still brings me fond memories, lol.

Aw, those are the best kinds of memories to have! And the funniest ones too :D. I admit I'm kind of superstitious, but not in the usual way! For instance, in Japan, black cats are good luck, so I'm gonna believe Japan.
