There are some terrific books here & I chose a re-read if you can believe that!! (I’ll read another as well as this is such an attractive list). I haven’t read Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas since before the 9/11 disaster. That wasn’t my first rodeo with F&L or with Thompson work. I hold him in high regard as a writer. I love his journalism, random papers & tangents out there floating around. My very first exposure to HST was ‘The Great Shark Hunt;First of the Gonzo Papers’. Right then I was in awe of how this man’s mind worked & how he conveyed his thoughts onto paper. I’ve gone off on a tangent...my apologies. I’m curious to know what my friends & fellow literary lovers think is HST’s best work. Sorry to get off topic- I just got curious. Thanks for posting this great list for us to vote from. 👍🏻

Brilliant writer
