I would read either Grapes of Wrath or Sherlock Holmes as a second choice. That said, I will probably put the others on my TBR for some future date. They're all excellent choices!
Great choices! I’ve never read “A Woman of Rome” and I’m becoming obsessed with WW2. So that’s my choice.
But I revisit (reread) John LeCarré and Arthur Conan Doyle regularly and those are winners too. I hope to see those 3 top the poll.
