Poll

There is only so long someone can talk into the void with no response before they start to take it personally. :) No guilt trip, I know people have lives & get busy. I'm just starting to feel silly.

Leave it Open. I will start trying to participate.

Briana Kelley I guess I don’t really know how it works to use the groups on Goodreads! I’m willing to learn and help keep this group open :)

Katy I think now is the perfect time to revive this group. I’m def down to participate.

Briana Kelley What are you guys reading rn??

message 4: by Deb (new)

Deb Dehnhoff I’m with Briana! I may have forgotten that there was a group, lol.
I am currently reading Migraine: A History by Katherine Foxhall. I have chronic migraines and it sounded interesting- to hear perspective on migraine going back to the Middle Ages. I like it (I’m a big history nerd) but have to admit some of it’s a bit of a slog and I wanted to LOVE it. 😐

I’ve been reading a lot of easy stuff geared toward younger audiences. I needed a break lol.

If you go to the Community tab on Goodreads and go down to Groups any groups you are in should be listed at the top. Discussions is where any posts asking questions about the books or anything you want to talk about should be listed.
If you go to Bookshelf you can search for books you'd like to add to the shelf as suggestions and add them.
Feel free to start any topics or add to any old ones about past books as well since not much ever happened with any of the discussions.

Ah, gotcha. I’m getting notifications for this thread, which I’ve never had before. I’ll go check that out and make it a habit to look at regularly <3

That sounds pretty interesting to me. Did you make it through it? Also, maybe check out the Sawbones podcast if you haven't. The recent episodes have been more current issues, but generally it is a medical history podcast.

Deb Dehnhoff I did finish it. I would up liking it for the most part, there were just some sections that were a bit long, I am a bit of a history nerd myself. And yes, I love Sawbones! Not caught up on recent episodes but it’s darn good.
