Truth be told, I was an Anarcho-Communist in the line of Pytor Kropotkin for the longest time. Furthermore, at heart I still am, however, I am also an adult. Ergo, I am a Marxist-Leninist, because while Anarchists and MLs both want to have dessert (late-stage communism), MLs understand that we have to eat our veggies (a Dictatorship of the Proletariat) first.

Technically Anarchists do acknowledge the necessity of a dictatorship of the proletariat (See: Errico Malatesta) and a transitionary period. I think you're confusing Anarchists with Communizers, who think communist relations can be made immediately in the revolution.
