Since I’ve mainly started reading this year I’ve got a couple queer Christmas romances I’ll be reading this December.

Not at this stage. I can really only read horror books, they’re really the only books I’m interested in reading, Hopefully down the line I’ll want to read other stuff.
Sometimes yes and sometimes no, if I stumble on to a really good one or I am ARC reviewing one then yes but I just have so many books in general to get through and it would add so much extra pressure for the month
Honestly, I don't read Christmas-themed books. But basically, because none had captured my attention. It's not only books but also movies; nothing personal, haha. In addition, most of the time I don't have time enough to read on Christmas, so I just continue with my TBR or the book I'm reading at the moment.

It’s a ritual for me. I intentionally avoid Christmas books until December or buy them and keep them till December. Makes me all happy and excited. Counting down already 🥰 Reading Christmas books in December hits differently 💜✨
Yeah, I do, hopefully I get to read one or two this year, but idk yet since I have a couple of books I want to finish by the end of this year <3
I recently reconnected with my reading heart so I'm doing a few Christmas themed books on my romace and cozy mysteries profile not my main one.
My friend David Knijnenberg wrote 'An Australian Christmas Murder' and it's funny as. It's hilarious and hard to work out whodunnit. I reviewed it on my page. Adult and queer friendly.
There is absolutely no intentionality other than mood, and what I already have on my shelf. It sounds like a fun idea, but then I'm halfway through binging a book series and don't want to break the pace. It's why I can't ever vote for The Goodreads Choice Awards. If I bought even half of the nominees to feel justified in voting, I still might not read them for another year.
Not a fan of Christmas themed books and so not a fan of Halloween themed books or reading spooky books in October. I'm a mood reader and following a theme feels like forcing a mood.
I enjoy reading themed books depending on the time of the year, so I do make the effort, but only as much as I want to and still read other "off-theme" books as well.
I haven’t. But i think that’s mostly because i dont know any good Christmas books. Otherwise i definitely would’ve.
I am very much a mood reader… I can’t plan to read anything. I read whatever sounds good at that particular moment. And only what sounds good at that moment. Lol. 🤷🏻♀️ Nothing else holds my interest long enough.
for the most part yes. I'm still a mood reader, but when the festive mood hits, I binge the audiobooks as much as I can until my mood shifts. I think I only read 2 or 3 halloween centered books last month, and so far I've only read 1 christmas centered book (with plans to read several more until I'm sick of it), but I took a pause after the one because I found two books that feature thanksgiving so I gotta hit those quick before that day has come and gone lol. But, I've also got a few christmas centered books that I re-read every year now so I definitely do try to read books with the theme to be festive for the scene.

I def recommend her hockey series (my fave is Right Man, Right Time).

Meghan Quinn’s books are pretty heavy with sex scenes. It’s not dark romance level 5 spice, but I’d say just right below that. Off the top of my head I can’t think of any that are rom-com on KU, but if I do I’ll make sure to drop the link!
Ok or do you know of any good like sad books on ku i read a thousand boy kisses and undernieth the sycamore tree and want some more books like it
Sad books I am a little more familiar with, not much. One that got me was Deadly Illusion. I was so upset with how that one ended. 😭
I'm not huge into watching Christmas themed shows or reading Christmas-themed books. It's just something that has never really interested me. In fact, I really don't like any holiday-themed books or shows. I'm just weird like that.
