Read one by Farjeon and was not impressed. Sadly, many of the Golden Age authors, unpublished for many years, are almost unreadable.

I love all these choices!!!

I prefer choices with Audible narration, so usually will align my vote accordingly despite it not being what is in my opinion the better book. Not optimal methodology. In this case I purchased the Kindle I felt would be the clear winner by my standards, as well as adding the only Kindle with Audible narration.

Call Mr Fotune looks interesting

I love Farjeons books , real mysteries, but difficult to find in print , the modern demand for more blood and gore sadly dominates the fiction these days.
