Jackie I am a bit disappointed by the voting since I thought Trent's Last Case sounds so good. I guess I could read it anyway, in theory!

message 2: by Jessica (new)

Jessica I voted for Trent's Last Case though I admit I almost voted for Chesterton. I decided by going to each book and seeing which one had the higher star rating. That went to Trent's Last Case.

We've still got some time, though it does look clear doesn't it? Often the runner-up gets another chance in a couple of months - or you could renominate it yourselves, Jackie and Jessica 😊

Good idea!

message 5: by Vic (new)

Vic Lauterbach I've read the first two books, so I voted for Farjeon's novel. I'm wary of Thomson as the little I know about him hints that his books are similar to those of Edgar Wallace, two of whose enormously popular books I read and found to be dull and Victorian in the prudish sense of the word.

Debbie Roth I bought three out of the four books! One being the current leader, Trent’s Last Case, and 7 Dead, which I bought last December! The price was right, and you can never have too many mysteries…right?

I agree, Debbie!

Great minds think alike! And since we’re in agreement, surely we must have great minds!
