I think you're trying to kill me, too many great choices!

I'm torn between Naomi's Room, Audrey's Door, The Haunted, and The House That Jack Built. I'll need to meet with a council of advisers (that means you people) and come back later. We could use this poll to select the next four months of group reads. That would simplify things.
Everyone had great nominations and I tried to have everyone's say in it. I'm hoping there is not another tie.
Gads! I want to read all of these and have had most on my to-read list for a while. However, I just cataloged a new copy of "Floating Staircase" by Malfi in at our library so chose that one.I'll read whichever anyone wants though...they are all great choices!
Geez...now after looking at all of these again and refreshing my memory of what they are about...I think "The Sinner" by K. Trap Jones, "The Haunted" by Michaelbrent Collings (if available in pbk.) or "Urban Gothic" by Brian Keene. You guys pick one...it's not easy choice!

Way to narrow it down, 11811. BTW, are you a robot?
Jason wrote: "Everyone had great nominations and I tried to have everyone's say in it. I'm hoping there is not another tie."Jason's not a meanie like me who cherry picks from all the suggestions. I don't want to make anyone's head explode with so many choices.
Tressa wrote: "I'm leaving the country if Urban Gothic is picked."Come to Poland, I just installed electricity!
Tressa...what's wrong with Urban Gothic? I've not read it...but had it marked to read...maybe...or...?
Okay...I've changed my vote...three times now! This is way too difficult, Jason. If I remember correctly, the last vote was for Collings, "The Haunted"...I think. I like 11811's idea of using the list for the next several month's worth of reading choices...good call, 11811!
Tressa...why, "I'm leaving the country if Urban Gothic is picked"??? Poor Mr. Keene...tsk, tsk...
Urban Gothic SUCKS. I am a Keene fan and have enjoyed many of his books, but he should be ashamed for putting his name on this predictable snoozefest.
Tressa wrote: "Way to narrow it down, 11811. BTW, are you a robot? ..."I prefer android, or humanly challenged.
I understand the logic behind hiding the poll results but I actually prefer to see them so I can vote for a book I want to read that also has a marginal chance of winning. As it is, I'm always afraid I may be unwittingly voting for Ralph Nader.
Okay, I'm finally going to pick one. I think I'll go with House of Leaves.
Tressa, thppfffffff.....Okay, Oscar, I will stay for you and only you.

I was thinking there may have been a conspiracy against you there, Tressa. One more vote and things could have gotten violent.
My plan is working. Next, House of Leaves will be voted as a monthly read.Tressa wrote: "Eleven votes for Urban Gothic? Sheesh. Eleven people wanted me to leave the country all right."

I'd rather read Urban Gothic.

House of Leaves and Urban Gothic are both on myTBR list but the more I read in this thread, the farther they plummet on the list. Still, my morbid curiosity can't quite abandon them entirely.
The Haunted is lendable on Kindle so let me know if you would like to borrow it. Its pretty short so I should finish in a couple days.
Brian Keene has written many good books, but UG is not one of them. However, you may enjoy it to the max, 11811. Whenever I see a book get scores of three and fewer stars, it means the story isn't good. But I read it anyway.
You can download a Kindle app to a computer or phone. It looks like it's only available at Amazon for the Kindle. For group reads I prefer it to be available in paper form so all can participate. But that didn't happen this time. Sorry.
