Hi Rory, I really do not read classic YA books, so I don't recommend or vote. I am more interested in prof, hot off the presses and nonfiction, thanks!

I haven't read this one, but "The Pigman" is one of my solid favorites.

Since I so enjoyed the Pigman we read as a class in 8th grade, I'll cast my vote for Paul Zindel's work!
