Amy,There is too much evidence that points at it. However, the skeptics (a good deal driven by religious powers) have prevented the evidence from being accepted.
We, as a human society, accept quarks, black holes, string theory and other unproven scientific "facts" because scientists who claim it is so. But the evidence presented by the likes of Dr. Ian Stephensen is constantly rejected. If reincarnation did not have the spiritual attachments it would receive the same level of scientific scrutiny and it would be a "given".
