I read "Infinite Jest" for the first time during "Infinite Summer". That copy had many margin notes, etc. I bought a new copy for this read. This time I just want to enjoy reading it.

I am reading the book and listening to the Audible version...great combination, especially when I get bogged down with a section not making sense to me.
I have an ebook version. However, if I make it through this summer of reading, I am definitely going to buy the physical copy. :)

I did the same. I have the eBook version now just for ease of travelling with it.

Kindle is great for long books (and endnotes). Multi-volume paperback (preferably more like 4.5 x 7 than the current 6 x 9.2) would be my choice if it was available. Since I read IJ on my Kindle a couple years ago I've never been tempted to use my hardcover for more than reference.
Should be an option for kindle/print + audio. It's my second time reading it and I'm enjoying the different experience with the kindle + audio on my iPhone.
