“Our goal was to maximize our time spent in the mountains, and minimize the time spent getting there and back, so we took Interstate 75 from Gainesville, Florida up to Atlanta, Georgia, where we changed highways and made our way into the mountain country. We had to stop for fuel and a stretching walk break every two and a half hours or so. On our second stop, just south of Atlanta, Erica checked the weather, and frowned.”
