“We have already learned that Jehovah put an end to Judah’s self-rule. No more Davidic kings for Judah. (Ho 1:4) Jehovah has divorced Himself from her and her illegitimate children. But, we will learn that He intends to chastise and buy back her legitimate offspring, despite their mother’s rebellion. Judah will never be a nation again, but her legitimate offspring will get a second chance through the coming Messiah and his kingdom. (1Cor 15:22-25)”
