“In the time between being fired and going to prison, I had a large jar next to my bed that was filled with little post-it notes. I called it my grateful jar and each night before I slept, I stopped and thought about my day, and wrote down something I was truly grateful for. I started the jar in the midst of this ridiculous self-inflicted crisis and today I still find things to be grateful for almost every day.”
