Our clothes hide everything we don’t want to reveal to the rest of the world. I don’t know when I figured out I was doing it, but it wasn’t long after that I realized Lena did as well. She’s always perfectly pulled together, and I understand the need to keep up those appearances. It’s not because we think we’re perfect; it’s because it helps keep the mess inside.”
