“We typically admire the intellectual abilities and accomplishments of those who understand the intricacies of physics. Physics, however, is only the study of the world that God has created. Theology is the study of God, who is creator and redeemer. Therefore, even with the revelation of God in Scripture and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we should not be surprised that the work of theology calls for the very best that we have to give. And we should be thankful for the theologians we study, who have gone before us to understand the God in whom we believe.”
