The pressure on the inside must be greater than the pressure on the outside! Think about that the next time someone talks trash about someone in the office, especially if it’s a person you don’t necessarily care for. Is the pressure to get involved in that conversation greater than the knowledge within that gossip amounts to nothing good at all? If so, you’re in danger of getting involved with miserable people and becoming miserable yourself. So you have to make sure that the pressure within is greater than the external pressure you’re getting from your colleagues, friends or family members.”
