في الغرفة الصماء بدأت قصتي
والصخر يهمس في جوانب ذاتي

أرأيتها قلبي ..أمالك لا تجيب؟
أم أن سحرا قد محى كلماتي

حسناء قد كسرت بابا مغلقا
أوصدته بالشمع طول حياتي

نظرت وهمست أختها سرا
أراها تعد لتلهم الكلمات

عيناك لم تدري بأني عاشق
فطرحت همي الى فرشاتي

أمسكت فرشاتي وبدأت برسمها
لله درك ما انتهت لوحاتي

فرشاتي ارسمي وجها لبدر صافي
قد أشرقت من نوره ليلاتي

شفتان حين تبسمت غارت
لحسنهما زهور الكون وانحنت ساجدات

ياملهمي مهلا رويدك فما في الكون

فرشاتي كفى دلالا ألا استمعتي
