“علي أن أقر، أني لم أكن أفهم الحكمة من ذلك النهي النبوي الشريف عن إغماض العينين في الصلاة..
عدم فهم الحكمة لا يعني قطعا، و لا بأي شكل من الأشكال، عدم الإلتزام بهذا النهي و التقيد به.. لكني أقر، أني لم أكن أفهم فحواه، فإغماض العينين، يساعد على التركيز، على التأمل، و كلها مقدمات طبيعية لما نوليه أهمية كبيرة -عن حق-: الخشوع.. كان هناك النهي.. و يكون هناك الإلتزام.. و ربما عندما تنتأمل في الأمر نجد تلك الحكمة..
الآن أفهم تلك الحكمة، الراسية مثل جذور جبل شامخ في الأرض، فإغماض العينين، و لو بينة الخشوع و التأمل، يتيح لك الدخول في عالم اإفتراضي، عالم خارج واقعك المحسوس.. يتيح لك فرصة الهرب من العالم المحيط بك.. بكل ما فيه مما يستدعي الهروب..
إغماض العينين ينمنحك ذلك و لو لدقائق.. و لو بنية التركيز و التأمل.. و لو من أجل الخشوع..
لكن لا!
الصلاة، أبدا ليست من أجل الهروب من العالم، ليست من أجل التسلل من هذا الواقع..
