والناس يخلطون بين ما هو مخالف للدين وما هو مخالف للنظام .أما ما يخالف الدين فأمر الجزاء فيه إلى الله ، وأما ما يخالف النظام فأمر العقاب فيه إلى الناس ،على أن يكون العقاب باسم النظام لا باسم الدين .
و الذين يدعمون النظام بالدين يخطئون في حق الدين فإن النظام من عمل الإنسان وهو ناقص ومؤقت وخاضع للتطور ،ولا يجوز ذلك على الدين . ثم إن النواهي الاجتماعية يجب أن تظل عملا إنسانيا خالصا يحميه الإنسان وليس من العدل أن نستتر وراء الدين لحماية النظام كما يفعل أكثر الذين يقسون في عقاب الخاطئين وما بهم من غضب للدين و لكنه حماية لنظام كله من عمل الإنسان ، وقد يكون خطأ أو صوابا .”
