She dropped her eyes to her glass.
It would shock the hell out of me if she wanted casual. I wasn’t going to agree so it didn’t matter, but still, my heart stuttered as her silence lingered. Lucy had to know that whatever was
happening here wasn’t casual.
“Okay,” Lucy whispered, lifting her gaze.
I let out the breath I’d been holding. “Glad that’s settled.”
