This sounds really good! I love fairytales whether they are dark or not! Have you ever read any of the Brother's Grim fairytales? So dark and twisted!! And yes I definitely appreciate a stand alone! Thanks!
I have read the original Hans Christian Anderson fairytales (love The Snow Queen), but not the Brother's Grim. I have heard they are good too. Looking forward to seeing what you think :).
I have a whole bind up of Grimm's fairytales and read some of the stories - you should read some from your favorite fairy tales!
