I came across this but dismissed it seemed to be all about elves and not have any humans or other races in it, but since you recommended it I'll check it out--thanks! (I wikia'd it, this is a board game or something?)
It's Dungeon and Dragons, but doesn't read like a D&D novel. Epic History of the elves of the Forgotten Realms from the beginning of the world. Enjoy.
