How does this recommendation feature work? 👀 is it only on web?

As far as I'm aware, yeah (I don't use the app a lot, i don't like it).
You click on browse, then recommendations and then, in the "more actions" section on the right (you need to scroll down a bit) you click on any of them, because for some reason if you don't you can't access recommendation request. Then you click on "view recommendation requests" and you can recommend books based on the requests.
You can also ask for recommendations in "ask for recommendations", recommend a book to your friends without a request with "give recommendations" and see what others have recommended to you in "recommendations from members".
