Ashley Really enjoyed this book Steve, thanks for the recommendation. I enjoyed the second one even BETTER! If you have any other suggestions, let me know!

Steve So glad you liked it, Ashley, and I agree that the second was even better than the first! I'm eagerly (and increasingly impatiently) awaiting the third.

Your profile is set to 'private', so I can't see what books you've already read, and what you thought of them, but off the top of my head here are some others from the fantasy genre that I thought were exceptional: The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch, Traitor's Blade by Sebastien de Castell, The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson, and Theft of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan.

If you like thrillers, I recently read I Am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes and thought it was superb, almost impossible to put down! I was also really impressed with Boy's Life by Robert McCammon. Well I could go on but I probably shouldn't. ;-)

I'll send you a friend request, and if you feel like accepting that'll make it easy to exchange future recommendations, but if not that's cool too. :-)

Happy reading!

Steve

Ashley Thank you, Steve. I'm also waiting impatiently for the third! I've heard lots of great things about The Way of Kings and have that on my to-read list as well. I read a beautiful review last night of Blood Song and am so intrigued, I think I'll read that as soon as it becomes available at the library. Have you heard of it? If not, check it out! This particular review sold me:
