OK, now you really have peaked my interest in this series. I will give you feedback after I get started. In you opinion, is his character a close fit to Spencer, or is it more like Alex Cross? Thanks again.
Definitely Spencer. You'll love it. And he wrote quite a few Travis Magee books so you won't run out for awhile. Looking forward to hearing how you like them. He started writing in the 60's so some of the attitudes, especially towards women, are a bit dated but they are still great books. Also he wrote one of my ll time favorite opening lines :
"We were about to give up and call it a night when somebody dropped the girl off the bridge."
Lol, what a classic line. I look forward to it. Similar to the comment you made, Spencer started in the early 70's and it took Parker some time to catch Parker up to the times, especially with technology. Thanks again.
