She's a good reader, reading at a 6th grade level in grade 3. I did recommend she read Harry Potter, but that's not her style. I will definitely look into these books and see what she thinks. I'm trying anything and everything to encourage her to read!!!
I think if she's reading at a sixth grade reading level, then this book should be fine. They actually are pretty good.
