Are you looking for fiction, non-fiction or both?
If light-hearted is okay, Nimona and Lumberjanes might work. If I recall correctly, Ranger's Apprentice might have some - set in a medival era but by a more contemporary author it has set gender roles but characters who raise questions but not in the direct in-universe way predictable books do, more like they accept small differnces from the historical as normal that make the reader take pause. I am pretty sure it will have normalized homosexual pairings in adult side characters too.
